One Last Dance: Café Mambo Closing Party Weekend 2026

No one likes goodbyes, but it is especially hard to bid farewell to summer when it’s been as epic as summer 2026. The good news is we’ve still got two nights to milk as much as possible out of every second before we say our final farewell to another unforgettable season at Mambo! Our mammoth Mambo Closing Party Weekend kicks off TODAY, Friday 16 October, and continues through Saturday 17 October! Even better, we’ve lined up two incredible headliners across two unforgettable nights, including a true legend of the iconic Chicago house music scene to serenade you all one last time.

The celebrations kick off TODAY, Friday 16 October, when the legendary DJ Oliver takes over the hallowed Mambo booth, joined by our very own resident DJs Jason Bye, Ryan McDermott and Gareth Stirling. The perfect way to get our two-day Closing Party Weekend underway, with an incredible soundtrack to one of the final sunsets of the season!

Drum roll please — because this is surely one of the biggest closing party headliners we’ve ever announced — tomorrow, Saturday 17 October, we’re going to be joined in the hallowed Mambo booth by the one and only Marshall Jefferson! Yes folks, the ‘Move Your Body’ main man (you know the classic even if you don’t recognise the title — trust us!) will be joining us for one night only, alongside Mambo residents Jason Bye, Andy Baxter and Ryan McDermott, to give summer 2026 the send off it deserves! So join us why don’t you? We’ll provide the tunes, the drinks and the views, you bring the vibes, and together we’ll dance for one last time this season. Bring tissues!

In all seriousness though, not one night has gone by this season at Mambo when we haven’t thanked our lucky stars for this magical thing we’ve created for and with you lot. From the sunrises we’ll (probably) never remember and the sunsets we’ll never forget — every second has been one for the books and that alone should be enough to sustain us through autumn and winter.

But on the freezing cold days when it’s pouring with rain and your memory starts to fade around the edges, just cast your mind back to July, when James Hype went b2b with Tita Lau on one scorching hot night, with explosive results. Or think of how fortunate we all were to see the solar eclipse in Ibiza, and soundtracked by MEDUZA no less! It really doesn’t get better than that. Unless you count Fatboy Slim’s now notorious annual one-night fiesta, which predictably brought Sunset Strip to a standstill. And then of course there was the Hugel Make The Girls Dance closing party just a few weeks ago, which saw everyone go bananas.

These are just some of the special moments we’ll be thinking about long after the season has ended. But let’s not get too soppy just yet because our ridiculously huge Closing Party Weekend starts TODAY!
