Opening of Café Mambo in April 2025

No one ever really needs an excuse to visit the white isle, but if you were looking for a reason to shake off the shackles of winter (or to jet across the world to avoid its creepingly cold tentacles), we have good news… the legendary Café Mambo opening party has been decided and carved into stone, and it’s set to enliven the shores of San Antonio on Friday 18 April. So, get it in your diaries, people, because that’s just three short weeks away, and we all know it takes that long to carve body and mind into the right shape to tackle an opening party of this scope and seriousness. 

We’re not going to reveal the Mambo opening party lineup just yet, because it’s fun to keep a few tricks up our sleeves, but it goes without saying that you can rely on a multicoloured, iconic sunset, soundtracked by some of the best musical talent in the biz, and washed down with a famous Mambo strawberry daiquiri or hierbas over ice. So pack your case, grab your mates, and let’s get 2025 off to the blindingly good start it deserves!

To tempt you further, let us remind you that in April, the Ibiza temperature gauge is already edging towards 20 degrees and we’ve got sunshine, blue skies and twinkling seas for miles. Plus, there are direct flights already running from Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and London in the UK – some for as little as £16! And which would you prefer, two warm pints after work on a Friday night or some Mediterranean memories to blast all mention of work into oblivion? We know which one we’d choose…

And don’t forget that Ibiza’s famous beaches are near empty at this time of year, so there’s no need to worry about scoring the best sand space, plus loads of places are beginning to welcome their first stragglers, including Mambo Group favourites like Mint, Bondi, El Chiringuito Cala Gracioneta and the oh-so-romantic Sa Capella, so there are plenty of picturesque places in which to fill your boots with delicious food and cocktails.
