Sunsets, soundtracks & summer vibes: Mambo Ibiza is back
It’s been two weeks since the grand Café Mambo Ibiza opening party and it’s safe to say we’re already knee deep in one of our best seasons yet – love that for us! That’s right, we opened the spectacular doors to the Ibiza 2025 season on Friday 2 May and it truly was one for the books. As ever, the sun and sky went b2b in the creation of a kaleidoscopic sunset, and people descended on sunset strip from all around the world. The resulting vibes were so off the chart that it filled us with confidence that – 31 years in – this is going to be one of the best Ibiza summers to date.
Resident Mambo titans including Jason Bye, Andy Baxter and Paul Darey couldn’t wait to jump back in the hallowed booth to kick the season into action. But it was a dream come true for Berlin DJ and producer LOVRA, who got to headline the opening fiesta for the very first time. She’ll be popping up at dates at Pure Pacha over the coming months, but her summer began with a bang, and she wove together a soundtrack of melodic house tunes to accompany the most iconic sunset on the planet.
As is Mambo tradition, she was presented with a Polaroid snap at the end of her shot, which she signed and dated, ready to be hung in the opening party gallery with all the other legends from over the years!
So that’s us here at Mambo in full flow for summer 2025, with a roster of pre-parties hosted in collaboration with the island’s biggest clubs scheduled to keep you going all season long.
